I hate my biology. But it's mostly my fault, I think. I know I wouldn't be feeling this horrible if I was still getting regular exercise.

Trying to work on the one-page paper I have due tomorrow afternoon, but the logic eludes me and I sent my professor an email, so now I have to wait for him to respond. D:

I just heard a cover on the radio of Garbage's "#1 Crush" and I really wish I could figure out who it was. BECAUSE THAT SONG IS HAWT.

Also, if anyone has Garbage's "#1 Crush," would they mind sharing? Because that song is teh sex. And obsessive. Reminds me of my sandcest days. *sigh*

I GOT THE HOUSING I WANTED FOR CAL POLY FOR FALL. I DON'T KNOW IF I COULD POSSIBLY BE HAPPIER. (I CAN'T CAPSLOCK ANY HARDER.)

My move in date is Sept. 23. Also, my Orientation has been confirmed for August 4. (I'll be going alone. AT 8AM.)

In other news, I hope that my Speech class group project is mostly finished. OHGODPLEASE. I hate group work. Especially in general ed classes.

SO I picked up Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, as glassbomb um, suggested.

This is book is awesome. It's YA fiction about romance and vampires and it reminds me of my early fic writing days sometimes, but I can't stop reading it. I got it last night and I'm on 272 (ch. 13). I had to forcefully pull myself away from the book last night at 2 in order to get some sleep.

The word choice is...well, interesting. And I see some regular things that pop up in YA vampire novels, but hey. I STILL LOVE IT.


ALSO, glassbomb, SO FAR I DO NOT SHIP BELLA/JACOB. I have a feeling this will probably not change. ♥

I have a feeling that I will finish this book VERY soon. And I must get my hands on book 2 and 3. >D Thank you Border's reward card for the random 25% off coupon that's good for anything.

So, I've been at Aaron's all week. Except for like, Tuesday night/Wednesday morning because I needed to do some laundry at home. And I've been playing video games all week on my new baby. Also, I bought Drakengaurd because both Jacob and Kimmie say it's awesome. I agree, even though I'm on my second flying mission with the dragon. D: I wish I could get some dragon healing up there.

So, yeah. I haven't done anything useful this week. At all. I haven't touched...homework. (Man, I don't even want to say the word.) And I've been lurking/ignoring LJ completely. So, no offense guys. I love you all, I'm just on vacation and this is what I'm like on vacation. lol

I have decided that spending a night with 17 pages of John Locke is a bad idea. Thankfully, my next assignment is only 15 pages. Of Mill. Not to mention that I should have read the second half of the first chapter of my history book tonight too.

I'm on page 12 of Locke. And I'm about ready to call it a night.

Just curious, but what are everyone's reading assignments like this semester/quarter? And does anyone have any tips for reading quickly?

I suppose NOT spending my entire weekend doing nil would be a good start. >_>;

So many things have happened since, um, sunday night/monday morning.

First of all, I've seen "Blood: the Last Vampire" and IT'S SO AWESOMEOMG! So, after watching it I scrounged the internet for information and other related things. "Blood+" is the spin-off/tv show of it. It's taken the basic elements of the movie and turned it into a bloody action anime (♥)

And Saya looks like the girl from the Persona 3 art.
I've seen episode one and I like it so far. I have like, 3 episodes torrenting as I write this.

I spent all of monday between Torchwood eps, reading "Desire Climax" (which isn't as naughty as it sounds), and hunting around for a torrent for "Blood+" that's not dead.

Also, as the title mentions, spring term has started. That means I don't get to be as lazy and lax as I was in winter. But taking the Pol Sci 1 professor I have in spring is a heck of a lot less stressful. :)

So far, all I've had today is Pol Sci 1 and Speech 9. My Speech professor is a nice lady. And she's got a New York/New England kind of accent that peeps up everyone and a while. Like when she says "coffee" and such. Keeps class interesting, but I don't think that will be much of a problem considering the class bears some resemblance to a Sociology type class. Which kind of makes me wish I was still going to go with that major. And Irvine.

...Goddammit. Stay away, seconds thoughts. Stay away.
